The Ceres Community Foundation is a non-profit, public benefit corporation formed by a group of Ceres citizens to improve the quality of life for Ceres area residents. The Foundation's purpose is to enhance cultural, recreational, historical, artistic, and parks and recreational facilities or opportunities. View the Foundation Bylaws (PDF).
The Foundation is administered by a seven member Board of Directors, six of whom are nominated and elected at large. Board members serve without compensation for a two-year term. If you are interested in serving on the Foundation Board, please complete the application form (PDF).
Purpose: To provide Ceres are citizens, organizations, or other interested groups an opportunity to provide a living symbol to celebrate a birth, special event or occasion, or memorialize a loved one, while providing natural beauty to the community.
Donation: A $250 donation to the Ceres Community Foundation Memorial Tree Grove will provide a living tree planted at the park with a memorial plaque honoring your special individual or event. Fill out an application form (PDF).
