The Mitchell Road Corridor Specific Plan was adopted by the City Council on September 25, 1995. This Plan establishes comprehensive guidance and regulations for the development of approximately 450 acres located along a 2 ½ mile stretch of Mitchell Road between Highway 99 and the Tuolumne River within the City of Ceres. The Specific Plan establishes development regulations, policies and programs for the implementation of the approved land use plan. The Specific Plan, which is implemented in accordance with the Government Code, is a regulatory document adopted by ordinance to be consistent with the City of Ceres General Plan.
