January 13, 2005 (Friday) NEWS ADVISORY: PRESS CONFERENCE TO ANNOUNCE SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENTS IN THE INVESTIGATION OF THE CERES POLICE SHOOTINGThere is going to be a press conference on Friday January 14, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at Ceres Police Department in the third floor meeting room. Ceres Police Department is Located at 2727 Third St. in Ceres.Investigators from the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department will be revealing key information about Andres Raya that helps in establishing a motive for his attack on the Ceres Police Officers. This information has been obtained by Stanislaus County Sheriff's Detectives with assistance from local law enforcement, FBI, NCIS, Department of Justice, and Marine Corp. Sheriff's Lieutenant Bill Heyne and Marine Corp Lieutenant Colonel T.V. Johnson will be providing information and answering questions. There will also be photos of Andres Raya (captured from a recent video) available for viewing. |
