Compost

Recology Premium Compost is a nutrient-rich soil amendment made from yard trimmings and food scraps. Recology Compost is a nutrient-rich soil amendment made from yard trimmings.

Both products are a result of controlled biological decomposition. The material is sorted, ground, aerated, and cured. Material is screened to size and then allowed to mature. In 12 weeks we convert organic materials that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill to a rich, dark, and earthy soil amendment.

Recology Premium Compost and Recology Compost are listed by the Organic Materials Review Institute(OMRI) meaning it is approved for use on organic farms. In addition, they are labeled by the CA Department of Food and Agriculture and the Oregon Department of Agriculture as organic input material. Lastly, they are Certified Compost through the US Composting Council’s Seal of Testing Assurance (STA) program.

Mulch

Recology mulches can be used for weed suppression, erosion control, topsoil production, moisture retention in soil, landscape decoration or trail maintenance. We offer products made from both recycled and virgin wood.
