[ARCHIVED] CERES TO APPOINT NEW CITY MANAGER

The Ceres Mayor and City Council is pleased to announce the selection of Alex Terrazas as Ceres’ next City Manager. Mr. Terrazas has been extended a conditional offer of employment and his employment agreement will be considered at an upcoming regular City Council meeting in January.  Mr. Terrazas was selected after a nationwide recruitment and selection process. He brings more than 27 years of municipal government experience to the role.

“I am very excited in the selection of Alex,” said Ceres Mayor Javier Lopez.  “Especially during such an important and historical moment in our city’s history as we continue in our growth and prosperity. He is exceptionally qualified and will be a tremendous addition to our city and to our community.” 

“I am honored to have been chosen to be the next City Manager of Ceres. I look forward to the opportunity to serve this great community and am excited about working alongside the Council, and staff” said Alex Terrazas.
